I used to be in such awe of women who held their postures, their faces as fierce as a tigress, but their eyes always held so much that they wouldn’t let pass through their vocal cords.
These were my role models
That was me!
My name is Saadiah C
I only have two names in this realm.
At my core, I’m multifaceted and colored with the seven colors of the soil that illuminate my human body.
I can no longer listen to TikTok of women who only wants to win or who leaves relationship because they “just can’t put up with the man anymore”
But the thing is the line is not thin between Love and Toxicity.
I see these women with the face of a tigress, trying to show the world that they can’t be hurt by men. Or they advise on how to manipulate men to be obsessed with them. Or they advise on how to leave because you deserve so much more than being with a man who disrespect.
Now you are asking “Saadiah, what’s wrong with that?”
I am not here to say what is right and what is wrong.
My only opinion is “We” , blessed with a sacred triangle, carrying the essence of the greatest women of all history, are only pretending to be a tigress.
Because you see THE TIGRESS is all women encompassed in her, she ain’t walking around pretending or trying to keep a straight face or making sure you are scared of her.
She KNOWS she is the tigress.
She KNOWS ain’t no one better than her.
She BE YAWNING and still turns on her sher.
She Royal.
She Fucking BOLD.
You can see in the little dough eyes of these grown “Boss” women, a little girl who has been abandoned, hurt and made fun of.
You can see a teenage self that had the most excruciating journey of discovering who she is and coming to term with how she felt.
You can see a woman whose body has been used and abused, the subject and object of a man’s journey.
I just want to hug these women tightly and hold them until the tears they hide in their eyes gushes out like Niagara Falls.
